Pham is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.
Pham went 0-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Angels in what was only his second start in the Padres' last seven games. With Fernando Tatis taking over as the Friars' primary right fielder, Pham looks to have ceded his everyday role in left field to Wil Myers, who picks up the start at the position Wednesday.
