Crowe pitched six shutout innings in a no-decision versus Cincinnati on Friday. He allowed just one hit and two walks with nine strikeouts.

The right-hander saved his best start of the year for last. The three baserunners he allowed was the lowest total in his 26 appearances, while the nine strikeouts matched a season high. Crowe typically didn't have that much success in 2021, posting a 5.48 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 111:57 K:BB across 116.2 innings. He finishes the season with a 4-8 record, while a 4.4 BB/9 and a 1.9 HR/9 can explain most of his overall poor ratios.
