Rays' Austin Pruitt: Hit hard again in Monday outing

Pruitt gave up three runs (two earned) on four hits over two-thirds of an inning in Monday's 8-1 loss to the Yankees.

As per Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, Pruitt reportedly retains the confidence of manager Kevin Cash despite the fact that he's now posted a 19.29 ERA. He's allowed at least one run in each of his five appearances while also surrendering nine hits, two walks and one home run over 2.1 innings.
