Murphy sits for the fifth time in the Rockies' last seven games, with opposing pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez representing the seventh consecutive lefty the team has faced. He may sit again Thursday in Philadelphia against another lefty in Cole Irvin but should then return to the starting lineup. Mark Reynolds remains the first baseman in his absence.
