Rockies' Jordan Sheffield: Headed to Colorado

The Rockies selected Sheffield with the seventh pick of the Rule 5 draft.

The younger brother of Justus Sheffield, Jordan was drafted by the Dodgers with the 36th overall pick in 2016 -- a rare miss high in the draft by that organization. He was transitioned to the bullpen after not showing good enough command to start. Look for him to work in low-leverage situations in 2021.
