Cave will start in center field and will bat eighth Sunday against the Royals.
The Twins have seemingly settled on Cave as the primary replacement in center field for the injured Byron Buxton (shoulder). Since Buxton was placed on the injured list Thursday, Cave has started every game in center, going 4-for-13 with five strikeouts.
