White Sox's Brandon Brennan: Outrighted to Triple-A

Brennan was outrighted to Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.

The right-hander took a major step back in 2016, going 3-12 with a 6.79 ERA and 1.68 WHIP between High-A and Double-A. His ERA was north of 8.00 with Double-A Birmingham. Brennan is already 25 years old and has averaged just 6.5 K/9 in the minors, so a permanent move to the bullpen may be on the horizon.
