Lambert (ankle) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.
The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of Tyler Naquin. Lambert is now officially done for the season with a right ankle injury that's kept him out for most of this month.
