  • Brewers' Eric Brown: Active at High-A

Brown is hitting .261 with one home run, seven steals and a 6:6 K:BB in 11 games since getting activated from the injured list Aug. 22 for High-A Wisconsin. He missed a little over six weeks with a non-displaced hairline fracture in his left scapula. Brown has had an inconsistent first full pro season, specifically early, when he notched just five hits in his first 12 games. However, he is hitting .297 with six home runs and 29 steals in his last 51 games, including a rehab assignment.

  • Brewers' Eric Brown: Placed on minor-league IL

Brown was placed on the minor-league injured list Thursday with a non-displaced hairline fracture in his left scapula, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Brown suffered the injury last weekend while playing in a game at High-A Wisconsin and is expected to be sidelined for at least the next couple of months. Selected by the Brewers with the 27th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, the 22-year-old middle infielder was slashing .266/.366/.348 with three home runs and 27 stolen bases through 48 games this season in the Midwest League.

  • Brewers' Eric Brown: Back in action

Brown (thumb) went 2-for-10 (.200) with two stolen bases and a 2:3 BB:K over his last three games with High-A Wisconsin. Brown missed just shy of three weeks with a thumb injury, but he has put that behind him and is back on the field. Through 43 games at the High-A level, Milwaukee's top pick in the 2022 Draft has recorded a .688 OPS, 24 steals and a 22:32 BB:K.

  • Brewers' Eric Brown: Heating up at High-A

Brown went 15-for-42 (.357) with two home runs, five RBI, 12 runs, 11 steals and an 8:8 BB:K over his last 11 games with High-A Wisconsin. Brown posted just a .493 OPS over his first 20 games of the season, but he started heating up a couple weeks ago, and he made a major impact Tuesday, going 4-for-5 with a homer and a steal. Brown was selected by the Brewers in the first round last year and is 22 years old, so if he keeps feasting on High-A pitching he could find himself at the next level before long.
