Johnson (illness) has been assigned to the Clippers' G League affiliate team, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The No. 21 overall selection is still yet to make his NBA debut as an illness has held him out to start the season. Johnson will now start his career with the Agua Caliente Clippers. It would not be a surprise to see the rookie out of Tennessee get called back up to the Clippers' NBA roster sooner rather than later.
