Adams ended with six points (3-4 FG), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals over 21 minutes during Friday's 112-85 loss to the Mavericks.

Adams made his return to action after missing the previous four games due to COVID-19 protocols, and coach Taylor Jenkins opted to bring the veteran big man off the bench. While Jaren Jackson and Brandon Clarke got the starting nods up front, Adams' workload wasn't greatly impacted. Prior to entering protocols, he'd averaged 26.1 minutes over his last nine appearances. Chances are, he'll reclaim his starting spot from Clarke within the next game or two -- perhaps as soon as Monday's home matchup against the Bulls.
