Oubre agreed Thursday to a two-year, $26 million-plus deal with the Hornets, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Charlotte will mark Oubre's third destination in three seasons, with the wing making stops in Golden State, Phoenix and Washington -- the team he began his career with. Oubre has started 105 of his past 111 games, averaging 17.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 32.6 minutes. However, with the Hornets, it appears he may come off the bench in a sixth-man capacity. He'll be competing for minutes with Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, Miles Bridges and rookie James Bouknight. Much of how successful Oubre is in 2021-22 may depend on how often coach James Borrego deploys small-ball lineups. Oubre ranked 124th in fantasy production last season, and it seems likely that he'll be out of the top 100 again.
