Temple will sit out Friday's game against the Lakers for rest purposes, Sean Cunningham of ABC 10 Sacramento (KXTV) reports.
Coach Dave Joerger figures to continue resting multiple veterans periodically through the end of the regular season, as Temple will join Ty Lawson and Kosta Koufos in street clothes Friday. It's the third time in five games that Temple will sit out, opening up more playing time for the likes of Ben McLemore and Arron Afflalo on the wing. It's expected that Temple will be back in the rotation Sunday against the Rockets.
