Magic's Terrence Ross: To only play first half Thursday

Ross is only expected to play the first half of Thursday's game against the Nets, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

With the Magic safely eliminated from playoff contention, the coaching staff wants to evaluate some of the younger talent and by resting Ross for half the game, they're hoping to get an extended look at both Patricio Garino and Marcus Georges-Hunt. That makes Ross a player to avoid in Thursday's DFS slate and could be something that occurs again over the last four games of the season, so continue to monitor his status.
