Mavericks' Markieff Morris: Won't play Friday

Morris (illness) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.

Morris' absence shouldn't impact Dallas' rotation, as he's appeared in just two of the last seven games. His next chance to suit up will come Sunday versus Minnesota.
