McDaniels combined for 16 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in five Las Vegas Summer League contests.

While McDaniels may not have been the most efficient Houston player this summer, he did serve as the Rockets' leading scorer throughout summer league play. Last season, however, the two-year vet tallied just 2.4 points per contest. McDaniels has certainly demonstrated his ability to produce at the NBA level, but with Houston's depth at the guard slot it is difficult to project exactly how he fairs. With James Harden and Eric Gordon figuring to dominate the ball offensively, McDaniels may be of little help come October.
