Bryant (knee) is expected to begin practicing with the Wizards within the next two weeks, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.

Bryant is nearing the final stages of his recovery from a torn left ACL, which he suffered in early January of last season. By all accounts, his rehab is progressing as expected, and the hope is that he can be on the practice floor in full capacity before the end of the month. Given the long layoff, Bryant could require several weeks to ramp up before making his 2021-22 debut, which looks like it will likely come sometime in late December or early January. Prior to the injury, Bryant was installed as the Wizards' every-night starting center, but the team has since acquired both Daniel Gafford and Montrezl Harrell, so it remains to be seen whether Bryant will return to that role or be utilized off the bench.
