49ers' Richie James: DNP again Thursday

James (hamstring) did not practice Thursday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

James hasn't practice in any capacity since suffering a hamstring injury Week 1 against Arizona, so it looks like he's trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's game against the Jets. Jerick McKinnon and Trent Taylor will handle kick return duties if James is forced to miss time.
