Browns' Denzel Ward: Not returning Sunday

Ward (neck) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Chargers, according to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.

Ward was dealing with a neck injury earlier this week, so the prognosis of this injury isn't positive by any means -- and not just because the Browns are already thin when it comes to their depth at the secondary. Expect Troy Hill to handle a bigger role in this game -- and possibly in the future if Ward is forced to miss additional time.
