Brown (triceps) could play a key role in the Cowboy's secondary in 2020 and is a near lock to make the roster, Jess Haynie of InsideTheStar.com reports.

Brown rejoined the Cowboys courtesy of a three-year, $15.5 million deal in March, positioning him to serve as a pillar of stability in the team's secondary amid a time of transition. With Byron Jones having left for Miami, Chidobe Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis set to walk in 2021, and rookies Trevon Diggs and Reggie Robinson navigating an offseason of limited in-person activities, Dallas could be in a position to lean heavily on Brown's consistency for 2020. He's expected to be fully recovered from last November's triceps surgery in time for training camp.
