Olonilua (neck) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Olonilua was already ruled out for the preseason, and the shift to injured reserve will prevent him from taking the field in 2021, unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team. He appeared in two games for the Cowboys last season and exclusively played special teams.
