Carter signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal with the Falcons on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Carter spent his first four seasons in the league with the Giants, but he really surged at the end of the 2021 campaign, registering five sacks in the final four games of the season. The Falcons will look to capitalize on the promise the 2018 third-round pick showed last year as they try to revamp their defense after losing Foyesade Oluokun to the Jaguars in free agency.
