Carolina hosted Johnson (undisclosed) for a tryout Friday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Johnson has been a free agent since being waived from the Steelers' injured reserve list back in June. The 26-year-old cornerback suited up for 14 games with the Raiders in 2020.
