Cobb (groin) will not play Sunday against the Lions, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
The Packers designated Cobb to return from injured reserve in late December, but he did not play in the team's Week 17 win over the Vikings and will not play this week, either, as head coach Matt LaFleur believes two more weeks of rest are in Cobb's best interest. Barring any setbacks, expect Cobb to be back on the field for the Packers' divisional-round game Jan. 22 or Jan. 23.
