Panthers' Shaq Thompson: Doubtful to return

Thompson (shin) is doubtful to return Monday night against the Saints, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

Thompson was carted off the field Monday night with a shin injury after Trevor Penning landed on his leg. With the 2015 first-round pick out, Kamu Grugier-Hill is now playing middle linebacker in his place.
