Jones (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
The linebacker underwent surgery Monday for his high-ankle sprain and will now target a potential return to action at some point in the postseason. While Jones is out, both Christian Rozeboom and Travin Howard could see larger roles at linebacker.
