Holmes (illness) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.
Holmes landed in the health and safety protocols Dec. 23 and missed Monday's contest against the Dolphins as a result. However, he is now in line to return for the Saints' Week 17 matchup against the Panthers and should return to his rotational role along the defensive line.
