Diggs (ankle) did not receive the franchise tag from the Seahawks and will be a free agent when the new league year begins March 16, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Diggs suffered a broken fibula and dislocated ankle in the fourth quarter of Week 18 against the Cardinals, but he's expected to be fully cleared for all football activities in June and thus ready to go for the start of training camp in late July, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. The 29-year-old and two-time Pro Bowl selection finished his 2021 campaign with a career-high 94 tackles (66 solo), seven passes defensed and five interceptions. Despite coming off of major surgery, Diggs should be one of the top safeties on the free agent market.
