Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that he doesn't "think there's any doubt" Diggs (ankle) will be fully healthy for the start of the 2022 season, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Carroll added that re-signing the safety is one Seattle's top priorities this offseason as the 29-year-old becomes an unrestricted free agent. Diggs has spent the past two and a half seasons with the Seahawks, and he's been a valuable piece of the secondary during his time in Seattle with 158 total tackles, 17 passes defensed and 10 interceptions over 38 games. He suffered a dislocated ankle and broken fibula during the season finale against Arizona and subsequently underwent surgery, but the Seahawks seem optimistic his recovery program won't extend into the 2022 campaign.
