Johnson (foot) was placed on injured reserve Friday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Johnson's placement on IR is simply procedural since he had already been ruled out for the team's Week 18 matchup against the Ravens due to a foot injury. He appeared in four games during his rookie campaign and recorded two solo tackles.
