The Texans placed Taylor (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Taylor was competing for a depth role with the Texans before suffering an undisclosed injury. The journeyman will now be sidelined for the entire season unless both he and Houston can come to terms on an injury settlement once he is healthy.
