Taylor (ankle) has hit the Texans' IR list and is expected to be sidelined for 6-8 weeks as he undergoes surgery, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Taylor will be placed on the team's IR list but will be eligible to return later this season once he's healthy. With Taylor sidelined, expect DeMarcus Walker and Jaleel Johnson to see extended snaps for at least the next six weeks. The earliest the defensive tackle will be able to make a return would be Week 7, when the Texans take on the Cardinals.
