Romanov logged an assist, five PIM, six hits and two shots on goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blackhawks.

Romanov had a hand in Jeff Petry's second-period tally. Later in the frame, Romanov dropped the gloves with Ryan Carpenter. After a two-game absence, Romanov was able to play in a top-four capacity with 19:22 of ice time despite being listed on the third pairing. The Russian blueliner set a career high with seven points in 33 contests. He's added 40 shots on net, 112 hits, 25 PIM and a minus-5 rating in his second NHL campaign.
