Berra was placed on waivers Friday, Elliotte Friedman reports.
With John Gibson and Ryan Miller both finally healthy, there wasn't room left for Berra on Anaheim's main roster. If he isn't claimed, Berra will likely head down to the AHL with the Gulls.
