Sabres' Casey Mittelstadt: Injured late Tuesday

Mittelstadt (undisclosed) was injured in Tuesday's game versus the Ducks, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.

The nature of Mittelstadt's injury is unclear, but head coach Don Granato indicated it's not related to the upper-body injury he returned from last week. Mittelstadt should be considered day-to-day ahead of Friday's game versus the Rangers.
