Casey Janssen and Felipe Rivero could see some save opportunities for the Nationals over the final week of the season following the suspension of Jonathan Papelbon.

Janssen hasn't been used in many high-leverage situations in the second half, but he is the only reliever in the bullpen with recent closing experience. The Nats could elect to give younger arms like Rivero a look in the role as well.

Rivero has been used as a setup man in September. He has posted a strong 2.98 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 38:11 K:BB ratio in 45 1/3 innings this season.
