Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval provided the hit that caused the longest game in postseason history on Saturday.

Sandoval made his presence felt at the dish, sending Game 2 of the NLDS against the Nationals to extras thanks to a two-out RBI double in the ninth off closer Drew Storen. With the hit, he extended his postseason hit-streak to 13 games. Sandoval struck out twice and finished 1 for 7 with an RBI in a 2-1 win in 18 innings, a game that lasted over six hours. He has four hits in 16 at-bats this postseason.
