Nationals first baseman Tyler Moore continues to swing a hot bat this spring. Sunday, Moore added a double and a single to his totals, making him 10 for 21 this spring with five doubles and seven RBI.

"I just feel good at the plate. Really just trying to slow the game down," Moore said to MLB.com. "Kind of got a new approach. Not trying to move a whole lot at the plate, not trying to do a whole lot, and just seeing the ball a lot better. It's paying off."

Manager Matt Williams is hoping to get Moore some more at-bats before determining what to do with him before opening day.

"Anytime he gets a number of at-bats this is what he does, he hits," Williams said. "The question has always been the last couple of years, 'How many at-bats can we get him? How much playing time can we get him?'"
