Kickham was outrighted to Triple-A Oklahoma City after clearing waivers Thursday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Los Angeles booted Kickham off its 40-man roster earlier this week to open up a spot for Phil Bickford, whom the club claimed off waivers from Milwaukee. Kickham will slot into the rotation at Oklahoma City, with his first start for the affiliate coming Saturday in Round Rock.

The Dodgers reassigned Kickham to their minor-league camp Tuesday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Kickham made his first big-league appearances since 2014 last season with the Red Sox. Though he struck out 17 batters over 14 innings, he was also hit hard by the opposition, surrendering 12 earned runs on 21 hits (including six home runs). The 31-year-old lefty made his first big-league appearances since 2014 last season, though he didn't do much with the opportunity, struggling to a 7.71 ERA in 14 innings of work. His 24.3 percent strikeout rate and 7.1 percent walk rate were both solid marks, however, suggesting that he could still be useful to a major-league team next season if he can trim his unsustainably poor 3.9 HR/9.

Kickham (1-1) allowed six runs on seven hits (two home runs) while striking out three across 2.2 innings Wednesday as he took the loss against the Marlins.
Kickham was unable to keep the ball in the park as he surrendered a two-run homer to Garrett Cooper in the first and got taken yard again by Jorge Alfaro to cap off a four-run third inning for the Marlins. The 32-year-old's ERA ballooned to an 8.49, though he does have a 15:3 K:BB across 11.2 innings. It's unclear at the moment if manager Ron Roenicke has plans for Kickham to start again or if he'll return to a long-relief role out of the bullpen moving forward.

Kickham signed a minor-league contract with the Marlins on Tuesday, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.
Kickham hasn't pitched in the pros since a pair of brutal stints with the Giants in 2013 and 2014 that saw him allow 39 runs (37 earned) in just 30.1 innings of work. He spent all of last season split between Double-A Jacksonville and Triple-A New Orleans, finishing the season with a respectable 3.65 ERA in 145.2 innings. Kickham could return to the majors in 2018 if he continues to pitch well in the minors, though it's more likely he serves as an organizational depth piece once again.
