Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Belts 15th homer
Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Wednesday's 10-6 loss to the Pirates.
Ohtani plated Mookie Betts in the second inning on a 415-foot homer off Paul Skenes. While Ohtani isn't quite hitting with the power he did a season ago, he owns a .322 batting average -- which would be a career-best if it stands. The 29-year-old is one of nine players with 15 long balls this season and he's also tied for the ninth most stolen bases in MLB at 14.

Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Cleared by MLB
Major League Baseball announced Tuesday that it has cleared Ohtani, closed its investigation and considers him "a victim of fraud" at the hands of his former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Mizuhara pleaded guilty to bank and tax fraud charges Tuesday, per Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com, and MLB considers the mattered settled given the "thoroughness of the federal investigation." Ohtani has continued to produce as an MVP candidate despite the background noise and has 14 home runs, 14 steals and a .322/.392/.596 slash line through 58 games this season.

Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Throwing at 80 mph
Ohtani has reached 80 mph during his throwing program, per MLB.com.
Ohtani has been throwing since late March and has progressed to a distance of 60 feet. The two-way star won't see any game action as a pitcher this season, so it's logical that the Dodgers will be very cautious in managing his throwing progression. Though he's working only as a batter this season, Ohtani is once again in the MVP discussion with a .326/.395/.604 slash line, 14 home runs, 38 RBI, 41 runs and 14 stolen bases through 57 games.

Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Records steal in win
Ohtani went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Rockies.
Ohtani had gone seven games without a steal, and he hit just .167 (5-for-30) over that span. That's a rare cold spell for one of baseball's best players, who continues to do it all out of the No. 2 hole for the Dodgers. He's at a .326/.395/.604 slash line with 14 home runs, 14 steals, 38 RBI and 41 runs scored over 57 contests.
