Week 15 NFL picks for 49ers vs. Falcons

Before you tune in to Sunday's Falcons vs. 49ers game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine's advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 15 of the 2021 season on an incredible 132-96 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For 49ers vs. Falcons, the model is backing the over (47.5). These aren't the two most prolific offenses in the NFL but the Falcons are coming off a game where they hung 29 points on a top-10 Panthers defense and the 49ers have been extremely consistent this season.

Over the last seven games, the 49ers are averaging 27.7 points per game and 374.5 yards of offense. George Kittle has proved he's healthy by catching 22 passes for 332 yards and three touchdowns the last two weeks and he'll be a nightmare to defend for a Falcons defense that has given up seven touchdowns to tight ends this season.

Both teams make great use of versatile playmakers like Cordarrelle Patterson and Deebo Samuel and the model is projecting both players produce over 80 yards from scrimmage. That helps the over hit in well over 50 percent of the model's 10,000 simulations.
