For the next two weeks, the Dallas Cowboys are going to be taking over your television on Sunday night. The NFL has announced that the Cowboys' Week 15 game against Tampa Bay is being moved to primetime.

The Buccaneers game in Dallas, which had originally been set to air on Dec. 18 at 1 p.m ET on Fox, will now air at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The move means that the Cowboys will now be playing on Sunday Night Football in two straight weeks.

The Cowboys are already on the schedule to play at New York vs. the Giants on Sunday night in Week 14. That game time is set in stone and won't be changed.

With the Cowboys' moving to primetime in Week 15, the Steelers will no longer be playing on Sunday night.

The Steelers and Bengals were originally scheduled to play Sunday night in Week 15, but that game has now been moved to a 1 p.m. kickoff and will be televised by CBS.

The league's decision to move the Cowboys to Sunday night in Week 15 shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. After all, the Cowboys have been the one team in the NFL this year that hasn't really been touched by the league's ratings slide.

The Cowboys' game in Minnesota on Thursday was the most-watched Thursday night game in league history. One week earlier, the Cowboys' Thanksgiving game against the Redskins drew more than 35 million viewers, making it the most-watched NFL regular-season game in the history of Fox Sports.

By the time the season is over, the Cowboys will have played in a total of six primetime games this season. Besides, the Giants and Bucs games, Dallas also plays on Monday night against Detroit in Week 16.

For the Buccaneers, the Sunday night game will be their third primetime game of the season.
