There's always bound to be at least one or two fights over Thanksgiving dinner and the Raiders-Cowboys contest was no exception. Throughout the eventual overtime win by Las Vegas, tensions were running high in what was a very physical game by both clubs. The contest reached a boiling point on the first possession of the second half when Cowboys corner Kelvin Joseph and Raiders safety Roderic Teamer came to blows on the sidelined following a punt, which then resulted in a mob of players getting into a scrum.
Joseph and Teamer were immediately ejected and the game proceeded as the Raiders would eventually fend off Dallas in OT and move to 6-5 on the season. While the game may have ended, the physicality seemingly did not.
In the aftermath of the game with players still on the field, CBS cameras saw Raiders offensive lineman John Simpson and Cowboys defensive tackle Trysten Hill get into an altercation. The two were chest to chest for a moment before Hill knocked Simpson's helmet off of his head. That caused a scuffle almost directly on the Cowboys' 50-yard line, where players needed to be held back from one another.

Following Hill's punch, Simpson and Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby immediately came at Hill to confront him. The video also showed Simpson needing to be restrained by teammates and fellow staffers.
The genesis of this fight is unclear, but emotions were running high throughout this game and Simpson and Hill were likely going against one another for the bulk of the afternoon. Simpson played all 87 offensive snaps for the Raiders on Thursday, while Hill was in the rotation quite a bit playing in 45% of the snaps along the Dallas defensive line and finished with five tackles.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Hill will not be suspended for the altercation. However, his actions will be reviewed for a possible fine.
