Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has been keeping a low profile over the past week. However, the reason that happened isn't why you think it happened.

Manning hasn't been in the public eye lately because he has been on vacation. After the Broncos' Super Bowl parade, Manning and his family left town for Mexico.

The vacation ended this week, and now life is back to normal for Manning. At least kind of. Although Manning has the story from the New York Daily News hanging over his head, the Broncos quarterback hasn't canceled any previously scheduled engagements.

Manning showed up as planned Wednesday at the International Roofer's Convention in Orlando, Florida, and let's just say, the roofers were excited to see him (photo via Instagram).

Not only was Manning on hand for the event, but he also took a picture with almost anyone who asked (via Instagram).

Also, his jacket might be the next "blue dress." The thing looks like it's a different color in all three of these photos (via Instagram).

Anyway, Manning also gave a speech at the event, where he talked about the importance of "teamwork."

Met this guy today #peytonmanning and he is a good dude for sure. #orlandoflorida #orlando #IRE

Two things Manning didn't talk about were his potential retirement decision and the 13-year-old court document that became news this past week.

Although we'll likely get a retirement decision from Manning sometime in the next few weeks, don't look for him to comment on the situation involving the "incident" at Tennessee with Jamie Naughright. Manning agreed to a confidentiality clause and was already sued once in 2005 for breaking it. It's unlikely he'll make the same mistake again.
