Redding made an impact Thursday, but his opportunities were limited during the exhibition season. Therefore, he'll likely find himself on the outside looking in when the Packers finalize their 53-man roster.
Redding landed on the Redskins' practice squad Tuesday.
Redding was sent packing by Detroit during its final roster cuts. The undrafted free agent will now look to earn a spot on Washington's 53-man roster should the opportunity arise.

Redding inked a deal with the Lions after going unpicked in April's draft. He had 45 receptions for 624 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns during his senior year at Bowling Green. He'll likely look for a practice squad role.
