If the NCAA Tournament started today, I think, the four No. 1 seeds would be Kansas, Villanova, Gonzaga and North Carolina. Those are the top four schools in the CBS Sports Top 25 (and one) and where we’re at less than a week away from Selection Sunday. But if any of those teams slip in their conference tournaments, don’t be surprised if a Pac-12 school - either UCLA, Oregon or Arizona - jumps to the top line after winning a Pac-12 Tournament title.
UCLA, Oregon and Arizona are fifth, sixth and seventh in the Top 25 (and one). In other words, they’re all in a position to be a No. 1 seed or, at least, be the No. 2 seed in the West Regional opposite Gonzaga. Kentucky, Baylor and Louisville round out the top 10 of the Top 25 (and one).
