Most Thursday's don't have much going for them on DFS, but this one is definitely an exception, with five games on the schedule. And not just any five games, but five intriguing matchups, featuring a number of interesting, contrasting styles of play.

The Bulls and Thunder both remade their identities in the offseason, though only one is reaping the rewards so far. The Heat are one of the league's most experienced, expensive teams, while the Timberwolves are a bunch of young pups, still learning how to play. The Jazz want to ground out 80-75 wins, while the Nuggets want to run you off the floor, and the same could be said for the late Grizzlies-Trail Blazers game.

The key to success tonight is going to be to figure out which team can dictate the style of the game. If the Jazz and Grizzlies grind their games to a halting pace, it will be hard to come up with big Fantasy points; if the Bulls can't make their shots and hang on to the ball, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant are going to demolish them in transition. Let's see what happens.

Wednesday's Slate

Thunder at Bulls
Fantasy Points Allowed: 419.5

Both of these teams play at an above-average pace, which means this should be a game with a high final score. The perception is that the Bulls' defense has struggled early, but their offense really hasn't been up to par yet either. That Westbrook/Durant pairing has worked out well most nights, and should continue to here.

Grizzlies at Trail Blazers
Fantasy Points Allowed: 397.6

With Meyers Leonard dealing with an ankle injury suffered Wednesday night and a lingering nerve issue in his hand that has impacted his shooting, we might see the Blazers tinker with their rotations again. That tinkering pushed Maurice Harkless into a larger role Wednesday, and he responded with a big game. That opportunity is here again, though Portland may not have the opportunity to go small if Zach Randolph punishes him like I think he might.

Hornets at Mavericks
Fantasy Points Allowed: 390.9

This one could have plenty of points and very little defense, so it might be a better matchup than you think. Both teams have players who are outplaying their prices in the sub-$6,000 range, and Al Jefferson might be the one big name who really goes off.

Heat at Timberwolves
Fantasy Points Allowed: 372.3

Goran Dragic played much better in the Heat's last game, and his price is still low enough that there is value to be found there. However, Ricky Rubio is a tricky defender who could pose some problems for him. We'll get to see the toughest test of Karl-Anthony Towns' career with Hassan Whiteside tonight, and he could have trouble staying on the floor as a result of Whiteside's physical style.

Jazz at Nuggets
Fantasy Points Allowed: 363.3

With their throwback big man combination, it only makes sense that the Jazz would play a slow and ugly brand of basketball, and that's exactly what they are doing. Woe unto any daring guard who tries to score near the rim against the Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert pairing; the only team to find success against them so far has been the sharpshooting perimeter duo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. The Nuggets don't have shooters like that, though maybe Danilo Gallinari can draw Favors away from the rim and find some luck.
