NEW YORK, NY -- November 11, 1997 -- SportsFan Radio Network (the radio home of John Madden, James Brown and Pat O'Brien), AVI, Inc., and SportsLine USA, Inc. (the publisher of CBS SportsLine), announced today an exclusive multiyear agreement providing for SportsFan to syndicate a daily eight-hour block of sports talk radio programs which include features from SportsLine's superstar athletes such as Shaquille O'Neal, Joe Namath, Pete Sampras, Bill Walton and Keyshawn Johnson.
The SportsLine shows to be broadcast daily by SportsFan Radio are "Sports Uncensored", starring Craig Carton and C.J. Silas from 10am-2pm ET, and "The Drive" starring Scott Kaplan and Sidney Rosenberg from 2pm-6pm ET. Both programs have previously been available only over the Internet at the CBS SportsLine site (cbs.sportsline.com).
