Jones (COVID-19 injured list) could begin a minor-league rehab assignment during the upcoming week, MLB.com reports.
Jones confirmed Saturday that he tested positive for COVID-19. He spent five days in isolation in Seattle before finishing out his quarantine period in Houston. The setback came at a tough time for Jones, who had heated up during the month of August, going 15-for-45 with 11 RBI and eight extra-base hits over 14 games.
