Wade was outrighted off Oakland's 40-man roster on Friday.
He is essentially being replaced by Zack Gelof, who is getting the call from Triple-A Las Vegas along with Tyler Soderstrom on Friday. Wade hit .255 with zero home runs and four steals in 55 plate appearances and was worth 0.2 fWAR in his part-time role that included seeing time at four different positions.
